All Coast orders 250 ft leg liftboat at Semco

FEBRUARY 26, 2014 — Lafayette, LA, headquartered All Coast, LLC, which last year acquired the domestic liftboat fleet of Hercules Offshore, has entered into a contract with Semco, LLC, Lafitte, LA, to construct a new 250 foot leg liftboat which will be equipped with two 175 ton leg mounted cranes and will have the capacity of accommodating 50 people.

The vessel is expected to be delivered from the Semco shipyard in about 15 months, will fly the U.S. flag, and will be named the Great White.

With this newbuild and the enlarged and refurbishment of the L/B Barracuda, the All Coast fleet will total 31 active vessels.

Financing for this project has been led by Whitney Bank.
