
TTB: Jones Walker presents on creditors’ rights under maritime law

Lance Sannino, a partner in the Maritime Practice Group at New Orleans headquartered law firm Jones Walker LLP, will present on “Creditor’s Rights Under Maritime Law: Tools to Consider in the Current COVID-19 Environment” at Marine Log’s TTB (Tugs, Towboats & Barges) on March 24.
Sannino, who regularly advises and represents clients in a wide variety of maritime commercial, transactional, and regulatory matters, will focus on the following in his presentation:
- The use of maritime arrest and attachment as effective means to compel payment of outstanding amounts;
- the elements, processes and procedures associated with maritime arrest and attachment;
- the cost considerations associated with maritime arrest and attachment; and
- the availability of any state law equivalents to maritime arrest and attachment.
