
VT Halter Marine marks milestones in HOS OSV program

AUGUST 8, 2014 — VT Halter Marine, Inc. has marked four separate shipbuilding milestones in the Offshore Supply Vessel (OSV) Super 320 newbuilding program it has underway for Hornbeck Offshore Services, Inc. (NYSE: HOS).
First, VT Halter Marine delivered HOS Captain on July 10. Five days later, on July 15, its Pascagoula, MS, shipyard hosted the christening ceremony of the HOS Crestview while its Halter Moss Point launched the HOS Caledonia. Finally, delivery of HOS Clearview took place on July 28.
“These significant milestones; a launch, a christening, and two deliveries were achieved within the span of two and a half weeks. It’s with great pride that we build and deliver these quality vessels for our valued customer, Hornbeck Offshore and their Super 320 Program,” said VT Halter Marine CEO Bill Skinner.
