ACL names Robert Blocker Senior VP Sales and Customer Service

American Commercial Lines Inc. has appointed Robert M. Blocker as Senior Vice President of Sales and Customer Service.

An industry veteran, Mr. Blocker served in progressively responsible sales roles with ACL from 1988 to 1995. He rejoins ACL after 16 years successfully leading AEP River Operations business development. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business marketing from the University of Louisville.

“Bob is an exceptional leader with an incredible depth of industry knowledge and relationships. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated the ability to plan for and achieve high levels of operational and financial performance,” commented Mark Knoy, President and CEO of ACL, who himself recently joined ACL from AEP River Operations, where he served as President.
