Matthew Kuehne, General Manager of BQR, Bollinger Quick Repair

SEPTEMBER 10, 2018 — Bollinger Shipyards, LLC, reports that Matthew Kuehne has been promoted to General Manager of Bollinger Quick Repair.

Kuehne is a 2007 graduate of the University of New Orleans. Since joining Bollinger in 2011 he has held the positions of Assistant Estimating/Project Coordinator, Estimating/Project Coordinator, Assistant Operations Manager and Operations Manager.

“We are extremely happy to promote Matthew from within our organization,” said Bollinger’s CEO and President, Ben Bordelon. “He will assume the role of General Manager and will be responsible for leading and growing the facility as we continue to service the needs of our current and future customers. Matthew has a strong work ethic with high attention to customer satisfaction. We are confident of his ability to rise to any challenges and service our clients.”

Bollinger Quick Repair (BQR) is located on the Harvey Canal .5 miles west of the Mississippi River at the Harvey Locks. BQR is a full-service shipyard and provides service to both inland and offshore marine transportation sectors with five drydocks ranging from 1,500 tons to 3,400 tons, on-site machine shop, armature shop, propeller shop and access to all Bollinger support facilities.
