Danish Maritime Technology Conference program available

JUNE 8, 2015 — Danish Maritime has released the tentative program for the Danish Maritime Technology Conference, which is to be held October 7-8, 2015 at Lokomotivværkstedet in central Copenhagen as part of Danish Maritime Week.

The conference is an industrial summit focusing on the newest, most innovative and sustainable technologies from the Danish maritime industry. It is aimed at technical executives and stakeholders around the world interested in gaining insights into the most advanced maritime technologies and challenges for the industry.

The two main themes will be “Innovation and Research – Maintaining the Future” and “Workforce, Maritime Growth Areas and Infrastructure of the Future.”

On October 6, the business wide collaboration Blue INNOship assembles its partners for the first time to present projects of Denmark’s closest cooperation thus far between the maritime industry, shipowners, universities, the Advanced Technology Group (a network of the nine Danish independent research and technology organizations, also known as GTS) and authorities.

Danish Maritime Days will be center of the maritime world October 5-9, with more than 50 countries represented in the largest maritime event ever seen in Denmark

In 2015, equal focus will be given to shipyards, shipowners and maritime manufacturers as well as political decision makers from all over the world,” says Managing Director Jenny N.
