Only 120 spots remain for the Maritime College Alumni Association's 35th Annual Golf Class.

The Maritime College Alumni Association (MCAA) has announced that its 35th Annual Golf Classic is set for Monday, June 10, 2024, at the historic Plainfield Country Club in Edison, N.J. All are welcome to come and enjoy the day.

Billed as the premier maritime industry golf event in the New York metropolitan area, the Annual Golf Classic provides an unparalleled environment for all industry professionals to meet, greet, and network on the links with colleagues and prospects. An extensive range of sponsorship opportunities are available for marine businesses to project their brand awareness.

The MCAA hosts the Annual Golf Classic to generate funds for scholarships for cadets of SUNY Maritime College as well as for their operations and outreach, thus supporting growth to America’s marine industry talent pool.

Brunch and registration open the Classic at 10:30 a.m., with a shotgun start at 12:00 p.m. Golf is followed by a cocktail reception at 5:00 p.m., with dinner, an awards ceremony, coffee, and dessert at 6:00 p.m. A premium open bar is available 5:00 through 8:00 p.m.

Individual tickets including a full day of golf plus cocktails and dinner are available at $750 per person. Cocktail and dinner tickets only, excluding golf, are available at $225 per person.

An independent 501(c)3 non-profit organization, the Maritime College Alumni Association (MCAA) was founded in 1903 with the mission of bringing together the community of graduates from Fort Schuyler/SUNY Maritime College, Bronx, N.Y. The MCAA provides alumni with a vehicle for expanding their personal and professional networks, and has been disbursing financial and career support to current students since 1903. The College, established in 1874 under the name of the New York Nautical School, and later becoming SUNY Maritime College, is the oldest and largest maritime college in the United States.
