GL Noble Denton makes Marine Casualty Investigation appointment

GL Noble Denton jobJohn Walker has been appointed as head of GL Noble Denton’s Marine Casualty Investigation practice for the Americas region.

Based in the New York office, Mr. Walker leads a team of marine engineers, master mariners and naval architects. His team play a key role in determining the cause and extent of machinery damage, fires, collisions, groundings, salvage operations and other marine incidents.

Mr. Walker has nineteen years of professional experience in vessel engineering, project management and marine accident investigation. Before joining GL Noble Denton in 2009, was fleet technical superintendent for a ship management company. He also has significant sea-going experience as chief engineer on a variety of vessels, including dry cargo, cruise liners and super yachts.

Commenting on his appointment, Mr. Walker said: “GL Noble Denton places considerable focus and investment into the development of our Marine Casualty Investigation practice. As we expand our presence across the Americas region, we will continue to efficiently deliver expert technical advice on marine incidents.”
