rolldockmicroGerman shipbuilder FSG has won an order from Rolldock of The Netherlands for two identical 151.1 m long multi-functional project cargo vessels. The ships can be loaded in three different ways: roll-on roll-off / lift-on lift-off / float-in float-out.

The ships will be the first of this type to be built by FSG, which is seeking to broaden its portfolio.

Construction will begin in February next year and delivery from the Flensburg shipyard is scheduled for the first half of 2014

The ships will be equipped with two heavy duty cranes able to lift cargoes of up to 700 tons.

They will have a speed of 16 knots fully loaded and will be powered by two diesel engines and a twin shaft propeller arrangement.
