DESMI marks milestone: 50 Stolt Tanker vessels fitted with CompactClean BWMS

Fifty Stolt Tankers vessels now have DESMI Ocean Guard BWMS installed

Back in January 2019, the first DESMI Ocean Guard ballast water management system to be installed in a Stolt Tankers B.V. vessel was commissioned. Just two years later, another 49 vessels in the company’s fleet have now been fitted with Desmi CompactClean BWMS.

“We are proud to announce that we now have 50 Stolt Tankers B.V. vessels commissioned and operating more than 100 CompactClean BWMS,” says Rasmus Folsø, CEO in DESMI Ocean Guard A/S.

This result has been achieved through close collaboration between DESMI and Stolt Tankers throughout the entire process, including design, coordination, commissioning and operational support.

The CompactClean BWMS Compacrinstalled on board the 50 Stolt Tanker vessels are both IMO and USCG type approved. They are EX-certified, with no minimum holding time requirement on the IMO certificate and just a tw hour minimum holding time requirement on the USGC TA certificate.
