Korea's Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering has taken this year's order intake past the $12.5 billion dollar mark by booking contracts worth around $400 million for two 170,000 cu.m LNG tankers for Sweden's Stena Bulk. They are due for delivery from DSME's Geoje shipyard in 2014.
Stena Bulk plunged into the LNG sector back in May, buying three ice-class LNG carriers from Nobu Su's TMT, a 145,000 cu.m ship built in 2006 and two 173,000 cu.m newbuilds
