OMSA announces new leadership line up

omsalogoThe Offshore Marine Service Association (OMSA) has announced a rotation of the association’s officers.

Todd Hornbeck will succeed Otto Candies III as chairman of the Board, Robert Clemons will advance to Vice Chairman and Ben Bordelon will serve as Secretary and Treasurer. Jim Adams, who had been working in an interim position since August, was named as the association’s President and CEO.
Mr. Hornbeck is CEO of Hornbeck Offshore Operators, Inc.; Mr. Clemons ix Vice President and General Manager of the Americas Division SEACOR Marine, LLC and Ben Bordelon is Executive Vice President of Repair Bollinger Shipyards, Inc.

“I want to thank Otto Candies, III for his remarkable leadership through a very challenging time for OMSA. He served the membership well and we will continue to rely on his counsel as he retains his seat as a member of the board of directors,” said Mr. Hornbeck.

“I am also pleased to be working with Jim Adams as the association’s new president. While filling the interim position, Jim demonstrated that he has the enthusiasm and talent needed to be able to lead our association forward,” added Mr. Hornbeck.

“I am grateful to the OMSA Board for the opportunity they have provided to me and I look forward to delivering value to the association’s membership,” said Jim Adams.

OMSA represents the owners and operators of U.S. flag offshore service vessels and the shipyards and other businesses that support that industry.
