Hyundai Heavy sets $15.9 billion sales target for 2020

In a sign that some analysts see as pointing to a flat year ahead in world shipbuilding, South Korea’s Hyundai Heavy Industries Group says that its three shipbuilding units have set combined sales targets totaling $15.9 billion for this year. Yonhap News Agency says the combined target remains unchanged from last year’s goal.
According to Yonhap, Hyundai Heavy Industries is targeting $8 billion in sales in 2020, Hyundai Mipo Dockyard has set a target of $3.65 billion this year. Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries is aiming to win orders worth $4.25 billion.
