DNV GL’s Jennifer States to speak on ferry innovations at FERRIES 2020

Jennifer States, Director for Blue Economy for Energy and Maritime North America at DNV GL, will be among the speakers at Marine Log’s FERRIES 2020 virtual conference November 9-10.
In a presentation on “Collaboration Models for Advancing Ferry Innovations,” States will focus on partnerships and funding for decarbonization and other technologies for ferries. She will also touch on regulatory developments for alternative fuels and joint industry projects relevant to ferries.
States has been deeply involved in projects related to port decarbonization, alternative fuels for decarbonization, among others. She is knowledgeable on the federal funding processes and has dealt with the FTA, which will also be taking part in the event. In addition, States was involved with the Glosten and Bieker Boats Foil Ferry project, the subject of another presentation at FERRIES 2020.
