
USCG creates job aid for LNG fuel system inspections

JUNE 17, 2016 — The U.S. Coast Guard has created a Domestic Vessel LNG Fuel System Inspection Job Aid.
Prepared by the Liquefied Gas Carrier (LGC) National Center of Expertise (NCOE), the job aid can be used by USCG personnel for initial and annual inspections and periodic safety test procedures (PSTPs for LNG fuel systems used onboard U.S-flag vessels using LNG as fuel.
The document also gives vessel operators guidance on what the USCG inspections will entail.
