Uljanik to build dredge for IHC Merwede

MARCH 4, 2014 — According to a Zagreb stock exchange filing, Croatian shipbuilder Uljanik  has secured a contract from IHC Global Production B.V. covering the construction of one self-propelled cutter suction dredge for delivery in April 2016.

The installed power of the 152 m x 28 m vessel will be 23,684 kW

Kinderdijk, Netherlands, based IHC Global Production, part of IHC Merwede, manages the production, commissioning and turnkey delivery of innovative dredging and offshore vessels – in close cooperation with other IHC Merwede business units – at partner and joint venture shipyards around the world.
