Schuyler Line wins $10.6 million MSC contract

Schuyler Line Navigation Co. (SLNC), Annapolis, Md., has been awarded a $10,595,700 Military Sealift Command contract with reimbursable elements, for employment in worldwide trade forwarded a $10,595,700 for employment in worldwide trade for the transportation and/or prepositioning of cargo by the shallow draft tanker MT SLNC Pax.

The contract includes a one-year base period with three one-year option periods and an 11-month option period, that, if exercised, would bring its cumulative value to $51,435,950.

Work will be performed in the Western Pacific Ocean (intentions Japan or Korea), and is expected to be completed, if all options are exercised, by Oct. 29, 2024. the Federal Business Opportunities website and three offers received.

According to the Equasis data base, SLNC Pax is a 7,985 dwt chemical/oil products tanker, built in 2008 and has been under the U.S.-flag since February 2014.
