Havila sells vessel to Secunda Canada

MARCH 12, 2013 — Norway’s Havila Shipping ASA is selling the Rescue and Recovery Vessel Havila Runde to Secunda Canada, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

The 69 m x 16 m vessel is classed DnV +1A1, Supply vessel, E0, SF, FiFi I & II, Oilrec., Dynpos AUT HL (2,5), DK (5,0)

Havila says the selling price is at the book value of the vessel and that the sale will release liquidity of around NOK 30 million (about $5.2 million)

The sale is expected to be completed this month.

Havila Runde was built in 1997 and after sale of the vessel Havila Shipping will operate only three vessels built before 2003.
