Dr. Uwe Lauber named new MAN Diesel & Turbo CEO

OCTOBER 28, 2014 — The new CEO of MAN Diesel & Turbo SE comes from within the company’s own ranks. Dr. Uwe Lauber will assume the post of Executive Board Chairman of the Augsburg, Germany based company with effect from January 1, 2015. Prior to this, he was Head of the Business Unit Oil & Gas before becoming the Executive Board member responsible for Global Sales and After Sales on October 1, 2014. He joined the company in 2000.

This makes him the perfect choice,” says Dr. Georg Pachta-Reyhofen, Chairman of the MAN Diesel & Turbo Supervisory Board and CEO of MAN SE, going on to add: “he will also rejuvenate the Executive Board, signaling a new beginning for the company that is a jewel in the crown of German engineering.”
