CONRAIL President & COO to keynote Intermodal Conference

MARCH 6, 2013—Marine Log and its sister publication, Railway Age, are pleased to announce that Ronald L. Batory, President & Chief Operating Officer of Consolidated Rail Corporation (CONRAIL) will be the keynote speaker on April 2, 2013 at the New Intermodal Age Conference & Expo at the Hyatt Regency Baltimore on the Inner Harbor, Baltimore, MD.

Batory is a career professional with over 40 years of both line and staff experience in the railroad industry, serving in various administration and operating management positions of considerable responsibility.

He is a graduate of Adrian College, Adrian, MI, with a BA in Business Administration, along wih a Graduate Master’s degree from Easterm Michigan University. He serves on various governing boards associated within sectors of both industry and education.

The two-day conference will include speakers from maritime shipping lines, port operators, railroads, and state and federal government, among others. The conference is co-sponsored by Marine Log and its sister publication, Railway Age.
 
Those registering early will have the option of registering to tour the Port of Baltimore Wednesday afternoon, April 3. The two-hour tour is limited to just 15 participants, so early reservations are recommended.
