The Port of Everett, Wash., reports that port tenant Everett Ship Repair has relocated its floating dry dock, Faithful Servant, from Pier 3 to South Terminal. The temporary move provided the depth necessary to sufficiently submerge the dry dock barge to receive the Washington State Ferry Wenatchee. Once the ferry is secure on the dry dock, the Faithful Servant will move back to Pier 3 and vessel repair work will begin on the ferry, which is anticipated to take place through December.

  • The Faithful Servant is one of four largest dry docks in the Pacific Northwest and can drydock vessels up to 430 by 110 feet, with lifting capacity of 7,800 long tons.
