Vigor gets $17.86 million Navy contract mod

Vigor Marine LLC, Portland, Oregon, has been awarded a $17,861,520 modification to a previously awarded contract to support the extended drydocking selected restricted availability of the Ticonderoga class guided missile cruiser USS Chosin (CG 65).

This modification will provide for production work in the superstructure for various interior spaces during the performance of the extended availability at Vigor Shipyard, Seattle, Wash.

Work will be performed in Seattle and is expected to be completed by October 2021. Fiscal 2021 operations and maintenance (Navy) funding in the amount of $17,861,520 will be obligated at the time of award and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.

The Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility, Everett, Wash., is the contracting activity.
