Russia’s United Shipbuilding gets $1 billion order for Sovcomflot seismic ships

25, 2012 — Russia’s RIA Novosti reported Friday that United Shipbuilding Company (OSC) is to build four seismic ships for Sovcomflot. The news agency reported OSC Deputy General Director Roman Trotsenko as saying the ships will be built in pairs and that the contract is worth over $1 billion.
