Harley orders two ATB tugs from Conrad Shipyard

JUNE 15, 2016 — Conrad Shipyard, Morgan City, LA has signed a contract with Harley Marine Services of Seattle, WA, to build two 4,560 HP ATB tugs. “It is always gratifying to get new business from a valued long-time customer,” said Conrad President and CEO Johnny Conrad.

The two new vessels will be 116-feet in length, will be powered by GE 6L250 Tier Four diesel engines rated at 2,280 BHP engines, and were designed by naval architects Entech Design of New Orleans. Both vessels are scheduled for delivery in 2017.
