BAE Hawaii awarded $13.7 million for O’Kane work

JULY 8, 2015 — BAE Systems, Honolulu, Hawaii has been awarded a $13,758,797 definitization to previously awarded undefinitized contract (N00024-14-C-4412) for scheduled drydocking selected repair availability (DSRA) of USS O’Kane (DDG 77).

The scheduled DSRA is the opportunity in the ship’s life cycle primarily to conduct repair and alteration to systems and hull not available when the ship is waterborne.

Work will be performed in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, and is expected to be completed by November 2015. Fiscal 2015 operations and maintenance (Navy) funding in the amount of $13,758,797 will be obligated at time of award and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.

The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, is the contracting activity.
