Live from SMM: Viking Life-Saving aims at total safety service

SEPTEMBER 8, 2016— Viking Life-Saving Equipment has been at the forefront of maritime safety and innovation for more than 50 years. Now the company’s taking their services even further by offering shipowners more streamlined safety equipment procurement, servicing convenience and regulatory compliance.

“The aim is that Viking should be a total safety service provider to shipowners,” Benny Carlsen, SVP Global Sales at Viking Live Saving Equipment, told Marine Log at SMM 2016 in Hamburg, Germany. Carlsen says safety is a number one priority with shipowners, but that “convenient compliance” is not too far behind.
