Special attention is being giving to the noise levels, which are expected to be much lower than their current vessel. .

The Coastal Cruiser 322 will be powered by two MTU main engines, each driving one Rolls-Royce S71 water jet through a ZF gearbox.

The hull lines have been optimized by using FineMarine CFD software to deliver an appoximately 10% fuel savings compared to similar fast ferries with equal capacity.

The high speed aluminium passenger catamaran will be designed and built in accordance with China Classification Society rules and regulations for High Speed Craft, and will be built in Guangzhou.
