Solstad Offshore CSV wins offshore wind farm contract

Solstad Offshore ASA, Skudeneshavn, Norway, reports that it as signed a contract with MHI Vestas for hire of the construction support vessel Normand Fortress to support its walk-to-work (W2W) operations at the Triton Knoll wind farm in U.K.

The firm period of the contract is 140 days plus options thereafter, commencing March 2021.

The contract is the first awarded by MHI Vestas to Solstad, which says it considers it “a milestone in our work towards further enhancing our presence within the worldwide offshore-wind markets.”
