Shipyard DeHoop wins 10 PSV order

DECEMBER 16, 2013 — Shipyard DeHoop, Tolkamar, Netherlands, has been awarded a contract to design, build and deliver 10 Platform Supply Vessels (PSV) for Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC). The PSVs will work for ADNOC operating company ESNAD.
The award has been won through a full international tender competition.
The shipbuilder says that the 65 m x 15.8 m vessels will boast a true “design of the future,” meeting the highest international class notations within both operational and environmental objectives.
The design is a development of proven De Hoop PSV designs, built to order.
The vessels will operate in the oil and gas fields offshore the United Arab Emirates, and will be delivered in 2015 and 2016.
