Hercules Offshore sells jack-up for $3.16 million

JULY 12, 2016 —  Houston headquartered offshore drilling contracror Hercules Offshore, Inc. (OTC Pink: HEROQ) said yesterday that its subsidiary, Hercules International Drilling Ltd., entered into an agreement to sell the jack-up drilling rig Hercules 267 to an undisclosed buyer for $3.16 million.

The sale is expected to close imminently, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions.

Designed to operate in a water depth of 250 ft and with a drilling depth rating of 20,000 ft, Hercules 267 is a Marathon Letourneau Class 82-SDC delivered in 1979 by Davie Shipbuilding, Canada.
