Additionally, Gulf Copper Government Services has been renamed Sabine Ship Repair Inc. as part of the broader organizational transition. The company also announced several leadership appointments in connection with the change.

Capt. David Pereira has been named CEO of Sabine Marine Group, and Robert Keister has been promoted to president of Sabine Surveyors Ltd. The company said both appointments reflect its ongoing leadership transition within the organization.

“This transition represents more than a name change—it’s a commitment to innovation, operational excellence, and customer-focused service,” said Pereira. “Under the Sabine Marine Group banner, we will continue to build on our strong foundation while exploring new opportunities to serve the maritime industry with integrity and expertise.”
