Epic Gas takes delivery of eighth from Kyokuyo Shipyard

MARCH 29, 2017 — Singapore headquartered Epic Gas Ltd. has taken delivery of the 11,000 cu m LPG carrier Epic Salina, the last vessel in a series of eight pressurized LPG newbuildings ordered from Kyokuyo Shipyard, Japan.

Since the first quarter of 2013, the Epic Gas fleet has grown from 22 vessels with a total capacity 99,500 cu m, to 41 vessels totaling 268,900 cum, a 270% increase. Average vessel size has increased from 4,523 to 6,559 cu m.

Epic Gas says it remains committed to providing a high-quality fleet of long term controlled assets across the fully pressurized sector of 3,300 – 11,000 cu m.
