DNVPS appoints Charlotte Rojgaard as Global Technical Manager
Written by Nick BlenkeyDNV Petroleum Services (DNVPS) reports that Charlotte Rojgaard has taken over from Dag Olav Halle as the company’s Global Technical Manager — a position based in the DNVPS headquarters in Singapore.
Mr Halle returned to Norway December last year and is now a principal consultant with DNVPS.
Ms Rojgaard has a Master of Science degree in chemical engineering from the Technical University of Denmark. Upon graduation in 1995, she joined the sales department of MAN B&W and later moved to the company’s R&D (Emissions) department, where she was involved in emission measurements, documentation for engine emission certification, and research.
In 2003, Ms Rojgaard was posted to the fuels and lubes division of MAN Diesel. As the company’s main liaison for external laboratories as well as oil and additives companies, she was responsible for coordinating fuel and lube trials, trouble-shooting, lecturing, and preparing technical recommendations.
Since joining DNV Petroleum Services in 2010, Ms Rojgaard continues to be actively involved in various industry committees, such as CIMAC WG Fuels, CIMAC WG Lubricants, and ISO 8217/TC 28/SC 4/WG6. She is now the secretary for CIMAC WG Lubricants.
Ms Rojgaard has presented at major bunker conferences and seminars, and also written widely on marine fuels.
