MARCH 4, 2016 — Norway’s Farstad Shipping has sold another vessel — and booked another loss on the transaction.
This time around, the vessel sold was the 1991-built, 73.6 m AHTS Far Sea. It was delivered to the new owner yesterday and its sale gave a book loss of NOK 32 million (about $3.7 million), NOK 30 million of which is booked as impairment in the 4Q 2015 accounts.
