BAE San Diego shipyard gets $38.3 million Navy award

JULY 21, 2015 — BAE Systems San Diego Ship Repair, San Diego, CA, is being awarded an undefinitized contract action with a not-to-exceed amount of $38,300,696 to previously awarded cost-plus-award-fee/incentive-fee contract (N00024-11-C-4400) for USS Bunker Hill (CG-52) fiscal 2015 Selected Restricted Availability (SRA).

An SRA includes the planning and execution of depot-level maintenance, alterations, and modifications that will update and improve the ship’s military and technical capabilities.

Work will be performed in San Diego, and is expected to be completed by May 2016. Fiscal 2015 operations and maintenance (Navy) and fiscal 2015 other procurement (Navy) funding in the amount of $13,248,475 will be obligated at time of award and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.

The Southwest Regional Maintenance Center, San Diego, California, is the contracting activity.
