STX OSV books order for cable layer

OCTOBER 2, 2012 — STX OSV Holdings Limited reports that it has secured a contract for the design and construction of one cable laying vessel for an international client.
The vessel will be of STX OSV’s own CLV 01 design. Delivery is scheduled from STX OSV in Norway in the third quarter of 2014. The hull of the vessel will be delivered from STX OSV’s shipyard in Tulcea, Romania.
The contract price exceeds NOK 450 million (about $78.5 million).
