Huntington Ingalls gets $14.5 million for DDG 51 work

MAY 14, 2015 — Huntington Ingalls Inc., Pascagoula, MS, is being awarded a $14,524,779 cost-plus-award-fee modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-12-C-2312) to exercise options for DDG 51 class destroyer follow yard services (FYS).

The FYS provides liaison; technical support; engineering, design, and configuration management; systems engineering team and turnkey, and crew indoctrination and orientation.Work will be performed in Pascagoula (97 percent); Washington, DC (2 percent); and Bath, ME (1 percent), and is expected to be completed by May 2016. Fiscal 210, 2011, and 2013 shipbuilding and conversion (Navy) funding in the amount of $13,755,927 will be obligated at time of award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.

The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, DC, is the contracting activity.
