Hedda Felin named CEO of Hurtigruten Norway

Hurtigruten Group has appointed Hedda Felin as CEO of Hurtigruten Norway, where she will will assume her new role on March 1, 2021, taking the helm of Hurtigruten’s iconic coastal Norway operations.

The group has reorganized its cruise operations in two different entities: Hurtigruten Expeditions and Hurtigruten Norway, which will, from 2021, operate seven custom-built, smaller cruise ships. Hurtigruten Norway will operate as a separate entity.

Felin comes to Hurtigruten from Norwegian based global energy giant Equinor, where most recently she has served as head of the CEO’s office and special advisor to the CEO. In a 14-year career with Equinor, Felin has held several key leadership and top management positions. She was appointed Senior Vice President for U.K. and Ireland offshore in 2016, and sat in the International management team overseeing Equinor’s international activities. Previously, she has headed up CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) and was Vice President of Safety and Sustainability for global exploration activities in Equinor.
