JUNE 13, 2017 — Cowes, U.K., based wind farm support vessel operator Seacat Services has won a long term contract to provide Operations & Maintenance (O&M) support at the 140-turbine, 504 MW Greater Gabbard wind farm, located off the coast of Suffolk,U.K.For the coming years,

Seacat Services will provide logistics support, including high-speed transfer of technicians and critical equipment to the wind farm from the O&M base at the Port of Lowestoft.

Seacat Services’ vessels are built locally by South Boats IoW, easily deployed to U.K/, sites and operated by a team with extensive experience in domestic waters.

The Greater Gabbard charters will be undertaken by Seacat Freedom, an advanced 23 m controllable pitch propeller catamaran launched in 2016.
