Vard wins DSCV order

JANUARY 15, 2014—Vard Holdings Limited reports that it has secured a contract with an international customer for the design and construction of a diving support and construction vessel (DSCV).
The DSCV is of VARD 3 06 design, developed by Vard Design in Ålesund, Norway. The highly advanced vessel will have a length of 157 meters, a beam of 27 meters and accommodations capacity for 150 persons.
The vessel is scheduled for delivery from Vard’s Langsten shipyard in Norway in mid-2016. The hull will be built by Vard’s Tulcea shipyard in Romania.
