Engines are 2 x CAT 3516C + 2 x CAT C32 delivering a total 6,580 kW. Four Marelli main generators produce a total 6,380 kW / 690V / 60 Hz,

Main propellers are two Azipull RR AZP 085 units and the vessel has three Brunvoll  FU-74-LTC-2000 bow thrusters 870 kW / 690V / 60Hz

Engines and propulsion in combination with advanced catalyst technologies ensure low fuel consumption, efficient operations and reduced emissions to air.

The Troms MIra will primarily be positioned for operations in the North Sea and arctic waters and will be managed by the Troms team in Norway. Troms Offshore Supply AS is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tidewater Inc., which is the leading provider of Offshore Services Vessels (OSVs) to the global energy industry. The company has its head office in New Orleans.
