Yangzijiang Shipbuilding bulks up bulker orderbook
Written byWhatever may be happening on the Baltic Dry Index, shipowners are still ordering bulk carriers. Among shipyards getting bulker orders is China’s Yangzijiang Shipbuilding (Holdings) Ltd. It reports that it entered into 15 shipbuilding contracts between September 1 and December 31, 2010,
Worth a total of $415.3 million, the contracts are for three 47,500 dwt, four 49,500 dwt, two 7,600 dwt and six 82,500 dwt bulk carriers.
Deliveries are scheduled to run from 2011 to 2013
