WR Systems announces key hire

JANUARY 20, 2015 — Norfolk, VA, based NAVCOM and marine technology provider WR Systems has appointed Mark Mahoney as its new Director of Domestic Maritime Business.

Mr. Mahoney comes to WR from Northrop Grumman Sperry Marine, where he spent almost 25 years honing his technical maritime expertise in a variety of roles, including  marketing, contracts and compliance. His most recent position was Service Manager for the Americas region.

Employing over 350 staff, WR has now set its sights on becoming a leading global player in the commercial marine electronics supply, service and support sector with a  Commercial Maritime Division that builds on its established base of 25 years of support for U.S. Navy and other Federal NAVCOM requirements.

WR says Mr. Mahoney’s appointment is a key strategic hire.
