Unix Line signs maintenance contract with Alphatron Marine

MAY 19, 2017 — Singapore based ship management company Unix Line Pte Ltd has signed an extensive shore based maintenance contract with Alphatron Marine covering support of all navigation and communications systems onboard its fleet of 42 vessels.

The premium service contract includes 24/7 pro-active vessel monitoring and helpdesk support, yearly health checks, dedicated service coordination team, annual surveys for GMDSS equipment and VDR and worldwide coverage of service stations.

Unix Line is a full subsidiary of MOL Chemical Tankers (formerly known as Tokyo Marine) and specializes and operating chemical tankers for marine transportation of bulk liquid oils and chemicals worldwide.

The chemical tankers are fitted with mainly JRC bridge equipment. Alphatron Marine has many years of experience of installing and supporting these and other high tech navigation and communication systems.
