Polarcus names Duncan Eley COO

APRIL 16, 2013 — Dubai based geophysical specialist Polarcus (OSE: PLCS) has appointed Duncan Eley as Chief Operating Officer. He is presently the company’s Senior Vice President of Marine Acquisition and will assume the position of COO May 1, heading the company’s three business lines; Sales and Marketing, Multi-Client and Marine Acquisition, together with the EHSQ and Information Technology support departments.

Mr. Eley will also continue in the role of Senior VP of Marine Acquisition whilst a replacement is secured.

Polarcus says the establishment of the COO position is part of the natural development of the organization and will provide greater alignment across the business lines in respect of the financial, efficient and safe operation of the company.

Mr. Eley has extensive experience within the marine seismic industry, including 10 years with WesternGeco supporting marine seismic operations globally.
