Penguin to make FUELTRAX standard on its Flex range

Singapore based Penguin International Limited has selected FUELTRAX to provide electronic fuel monitoring system (EFMS) solutions for its Flex Fighter range of armored multi-role security boats.

The company will also install FUELTRAX on its own fleet of Flex-42X Executive Fast Crew Boats.

Penguin International Limited is a Singaporean homegrown, publicly listed designer, builder, owner and operator of high-speed aluminum craft. Through a group of wholly owned, integrated subsidiaries. Penguin’s Flex security boats and crew boats, jointly developed by their integrated in-house shipbuilding and ship management teams in Singapore and Malaysia, are backed by more than two decades of experience.

Penguin runs a self-funded build-for-stock program that features itsFlex Fighter security boats and Flex crew boats.It also undertakes owner-specific build-to-order and repair projects for a variety of high-speed craft. Their Flex Fighter and Flex-42X designs have respectively become the industry standard for security boats and crew boats.

Since 1995, Penguin has delivered close to 200 aluminum workboats, patrol craft, and passenger ferries to ship owners around the world, including over 120 of its proprietary-design Flex series boats.

Recognizing the increased demand for EFMS by vessel owners and oil majors alike, Penguin is committed to providing the best EFMS solution on the market for its build-for-stock program. Commencing this month, all the Flex Fighters in thr build-for-stock program will come standard with FUELTRAX EFMS installed onboard.

FUELTRAX currently operates onboard six Penguin Flexes, with another 8 -10 installations to be completed through 2019. As Penguin continues their build-for-stock program, this number is expected to increase by an additional 12 to 15 systems through 2020.
