NAT-sponsored NAO may take a seventh

NOVEMBER 4, 2013 — Nordic American Tankers (NYSE:NAT) says that Nordic American Offshore is adding a newbuilding option to the six PSX121 platform supply vessels that it intends to buy from Ulstein Shipping AS (see earlier story).
The price for the six in-service PSVs is about NOK 270 million (about $45 million) per unit. The price for the seventh vessel, if the option is exercised, will be the same as for the delivered units.
