MARAD gets $4.9 million for 2016 Small Shipyard Grants

JANUARY 5, 2015 —The Shipbuilders Council of America reports that on December 31, 2015, the U.S. Maritime Administration announced the 2016 funding availability for the Small Shipyard Grant Program.  

There is currently $4,900,000 available for capital and related improvements to qualified shipyard facilities.

Applications are due February 16, 2016. Grants will  be awarded by April 18th, 2016.
