AUGUST 17, 2015 —  The Turbocharger unit of MAN PrimeServ, MAN Diesel & Turbo’s service division, recently signed a Premium Turbocharger Maintenance Contract with AMCL – Associated Maritime Company (HKG) Ltd.

AMCL is a ship management company historically linked with the Tung Group that today operates China Merchants Group tanker fleet, providing services covering ship management, commercial operations, corporate and accounting services as well as new building supervision/

The new Primeserv contract initially covers approximately 36 turbochargers, installed aboard various vessels from the AMCL fleet operating worldwide. The turbocharger types covered by the contract are essentially TCA axial types for main engines, and NR radial types for auxiliary engines.

MAN PrimeServ says that its global network of service centers is well-placed to serve AMCL’s trading routes.
Under the terms of the agreement, PrimeServ will provide all relevant services as part of a complete maintenance package.

MAN PrimeServ Turbocharger – in coordination with the MAN PrimeServ network – will coordinate and plan all upcoming scheduled maintenance intervals for AMCL’s turbochargers, including the timely delivery of necessary spare parts.
