David DeVilbiss joins Glosten

David DeVilbiss

Seattle-headquartered naval architecture and marine engineering firm, Glosten, announces the hiring of David DeVilbiss. He joins Glosten’s Marine Construction group as a Senior Marine Consultant.

“We are thrilled to have David join our team,” said Glosten President Morgan Fanberg. “David’s energy and enthusiasm, coupled with his vast knowledge of the marine industry, makes him a valuable addition to the firm.”

Formerly Vice President of Marine Casualty & Emergency Response at Global Diving & Salvage, Inc., DeVilbiss oversaw all of that company’s marine casualty and emergency response operations throughout all operating regions. He brings over 25 years of marine industry experience ranging from vessels, marine infrastructure, and the oil and gas industry.

“I am honored to join the talented and diverse team at Glosten. I look forward to learning from and contributing to the future solutions Glosten offers their clients,” said DeVilbiss.

DeVilbiss attended Le Tourneau University (Mechanical Engineering), the Divers Institute of Technology (Commercial Diver), and Lloyds Maritime Academy (Salvage Law and Practice).

He has authored and co-authored several published papers including submissions to Chalmers University and the American Petroleum Institute.
